As CUNY classes are making the transition to go fully online this semester due to the Coronovirus, the Kingsborough Art Museum has revised its exhibition calendar. Please note that the current Niki de Saint Phalle exhibition will remain on view through July 22, which hopefully will allow the students and faculty in the summer semester an opportunity to visit. Unfortunately the next exhibition, Barry Rosenthal: Found in Nature, has been postponed until spring 2021. The 2020 Annual Student Exhibition has also been cancelled. Submissions are still currently being accepted for the Fourth Annual Rarebit Animation Festival, scheduled for June 4, although it may be necessary to postpone the actual event. Also note that KAM is currently closed; please watch for updates as to if and when we can reopen this semester. We apologize for these necessary changes to the schedule, but these decisions were made with the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and outside visitors in mind. We wish you the best in these uncertain times, but we are hopeful that the resilient spirit of the Kingsborough community, and New Yorkers in general, will prevail. Be well, be safe, be careful.
